Lake of the Clouds, Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park.

Porcupine Mountains Wilderness
Extended Trip

Overview

Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park (“Porkies”) is one of the last few remaining large wilderness areas in the Midwest. It is Michigan’s largest state park. Large trees, waterfalls, and numerous water sources make this wilderness a fun place to explore. There are over 90 miles of hiking trails to view wildlife, birds and interesting flora.
