If you are looking to soak up some sun, access to sandy Chapel beach amongst high bluffs is a gorgeous place to take a break on your trek. Pause for pictures of the mouth of the Chapel River and read the history of Chapel Rock. More epic photo opportunities await at Grand Portal Point.
Adventure Itinerary
Day 1: The adventure begins at the Chapel Basin Parking Lot (directions below) at 10 a.m. in the morning. Your awesome guides will welcome you, distribute gear, help you properly load your backpack, go over safety information, and sign waivers. Send those last text messages and turn your phone to airplane mode. Polish off your phone screen in prep for some epic pics. And let the fun begin!

Not Included Transportation to and from the trailhead. Carpooling is recommended.
Weather It's Michigan. Plan accordingly. Look at the forecast ahead of time. Keep in mind we will be along Lake Superior and the temperatures at night can fall.
Cancellation & Refund Policy Full Potential reserves the right to cancel any trip for the following reasons, including but not limited to failure to meet the participant minimum required for a trip, loss of a scheduled staff member due to injury or illness, unforeseeable damage to a scheduled location site or predicted dangerous weather forecasted. If Full Potential cancels a trip due to such reasons, a refund for the full amount paid by each participant will be provided.
Full Potential is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by a participant related to preparing for a trip. This includes cost of transportation to and from location site, any clothing/equipment purchased for or damaged during the trip, or any medical expenses resulting from the trip.
Refund
If a participant cancels trip for any reason 15 days or more prior to start date of the trip, Full Potential will refund 100% of amount paid.
If participant cancels trip for any reason 14 days or less prior to start date of the trip, Full Potential will refund 50% of amount paid.
