My Thoughts on Coaching

You don’t need “perfect,” you need real. Human. Relatable.

I’ve faced my own battles—ones that tested my mental strength that I didn’t choose, and physical ones I signed up for, just to feel something and to prove that I can count on ME.

But nothing tested both my mental & physical strength at the same time like the Vermont Spartan Beast: 21K run, 30 obstacles, 6 damn trips up that mountain—brutal, humbling.

I am forever grateful that at my lowest point, ready to quit, a spectator tossed me Sour Patch Kids (the one candy I can’t stand). When I opened the bag and saw they were 🍉—my girls’ favorite, that was it. Quitting was off the table. I couldn’t go home and tell them that I chose to not finish.

I finished those last miles literally walking backwards because I was cramping & my legs kept giving out. It wasn’t until I crossed the finish line that I understood my “why.” Some of the hardest, most humbling experiences are the ones that reshape you forever. They’re the ones that teach you what you’re really capable of.

I now have this belief to share with my clients as they work through their health journeys: Humbled by the challenge…forever stronger by the finish.

Life is short. I believe that “you only live once”. Make it count! Chase your full potential. And if you need help navigating your own tough seasons—I’ve been there. I gotchu!

You Only Live Once

For seventeen years, I lived what many would call a “successful” life. I held a stable, respected career as a Registered Dietitian, worked predictable hours, and earned a steady paycheck. On paper, everything looked right. I spent my days helping others take care of their health—guiding them on what to eat, how to fuel their bodies, and how to improve their well-being.

Yet somewhere along the way, I realized I was only helping people change parts of their lives, not their lives as a whole. And in the process, I had lost touch with my own.

One day, I looked in the mirror and barely recognized the person staring back at me. I was moving through life on autopilot—numb, disconnected, and exhausted. I was doing all the “right” things, but I didn’t feel alive. And as I looked around, I saw the same pattern in my clients, my friends, and my family: capable, hardworking people simply going through the motions, waiting for someday.

I knew one thing with certainty--you only live once. And this wasn’t how I wanted to be living. I didn’t yet know how to fix what felt broken, but I believed there had to be a way to feel fully alive again. The idea of making a change was terrifying, but staying where I was felt even scarier.

What finally pushed me to step out of my comfort zone was loss. I lost two close friends—far too young, far too soon—to cancer. Their deaths stopped me in my tracks and forced me to confront a hard truth: life is short, and none of us are guaranteed tomorrow. We get one shot at this.

That was the moment I decided to stop waiting.

I left my job and built a business rooted in the things that truly fuel me—mind, body, and soul. My work now blends fitness that challenges and empowers, nutrition that nourishes without restriction, and outdoor experiences that heal, ground, and energize. It’s not about chasing perfection or shrinking bodies; it’s about expanding lives.

Through this journey, I didn’t just build a business—I found myself again. And that discovery became my mission.
Today, I primarily work with busy women who feel like they’ve lost themselves beneath the weight of careers, families, and endless responsibilities. Women who once felt strong, confident, and joyful—and want to feel that way again. My goal is to help them reconnect with their bodies, rediscover their joy, and rebuild their confidence in a way that’s realistic and sustainable.

Not through rigid diets or punishing workouts, but through systems that support real life. Systems that work with their schedules, stress levels, and seasons—not against them—so they can show up fully for themselves and for the people and passions that matter most.

This work goes far beyond fitness. It’s about improving health span, not just lifespan—adding life to your years, not just years to your life. It’s about coming home to who you truly are.

As a mom of three daughters, this mission is deeply personal. I want them to see that they don’t have to settle for a life that looks good on the outside but feels empty on the inside. They are allowed to want more—to feel strong, fulfilled, and alive.

And so are you.
